El Eden Country

The rooms in the main house look out over the coffee plantation. They’re very spacious, and breakfast is included. It’s a beautiful hotel with a theme inspired by a typical coffee town.

The peaceful atmosphere and traditional coffee architecture were magical. From our jacuzzi suite, we had a stunning view of the mountains and Armenia, and the location itself was breathtakingly beautiful. The staff were incredibly accommodating, thoughtfully bringing fresh fruit, warm arepa, and fresh orange juice for our vegan breakfast. We appreciated that, though we’d suggest adding more plant-based options beyond the basics for vegan guests.

We came in the off season, so other people may have a different experience. The local buses were affordable and would pick us up and drop us off at the entrance. My only real gripe was that the beds were firm, though that’s personal preference. There was some road noise at night too, but it wasn’t bad. My friend and I spent the weekend exploring coffee country, including Armenia, Corcora, Filanda, and Salento. This place exceeded our wildest dreams. The classical Spanish architecture, friendly staff, breathtaking scenery, and sweetest on-site animals made us want to return and recommend it to friends.

Absolutely fabulous. I’d recommend it 100%.
