Hotel Roseliere Bucaramanga

The location is handy, with lots of restaurants and cafes nearby, plus a supermarket and shopping center. Breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant had a beautiful view. The hotel doesn't really feel like the advertised 4 stars, maybe 3. The presidential suite was spacious, but its bed, blankets, and pillows weren't up to the standard you'd expect for a 4-star presidential suite. The coffee and amenities were low quality, and service was basic. Nobody spoke English, not even at a basic level.

I couldn't hear anyone else in the hotel, and I'd definitely stay again. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, and the room had a nice queen bed, great A/C, a huge shower, mini fridge, and large flat screen TV. My only issue was traffic noise, even though I was on the 13th floor. Breakfast was included, but I slept in lol.

The rooms were excellent value for money. I've stayed in three different rooms across two floors, and minor maintenance requests were handled right away. There are still some small upkeep details in the rooms, though. One issue was serious for guest and room service staff safety: on Floor 10, leaving rooms 1006 or 1004 doesn't trigger the light, so it's pitch dark all the way to the elevator. I had restaurant staff bring food to my room, and when I opened the door it felt like the hotel had no power.

The hotel is beautiful, but the way guests are treated isn't enjoyable. Some staff are very rude, and they need to work more on the manners and work ethic of the people there. It doesn't seem fair that after you've paid, you have to pay extra just to receive a guest.
