Hotel Barcelona Chinauta

It’s 3:30 in the morning on my first night here, and I still haven’t slept. People are talking and drinking right outside my room, and the music is way too loud. It looks like they’ll be there all night. I called the hotel number, but nobody answered, and then the phone was switched off.

There’s a nice view, a large restaurant, and parking right at the hotel. The staff are nice, the pool is good, and the rooms work well for a family on a budget. They’re also flexible. It’s right on the main road, though, so it’s hot and noisy. I don’t think there’s air conditioning or hot water.

Breakfast had plenty of tasty choices, and the hotel has some nice facilities with different activities to do on site. The staff were very attentive. Lunch took a little while, but that didn’t change the fact that we had a really positive stay and enjoyed it a lot.

The location has fantastic views of Cerro Quinini, and the facilities are kept in good shape. Staff members were very friendly, though the apparent owners didn’t give the same impression. Our room was spacious and mostly comfortable. Some rooms are quite dark, and those near the playground can be hard to rest in, with music, lights, and other guests making noise late into the night.
