Hotel Santa Monica

Really clean and comfortable, with very good reception staff. The only drawback is the noise from the main avenue. Apart from that, it’s top-notch.

The rooms are comfortable and clean, and breakfast and service were excellent. It’s a good value hotel right in central Fusagasugá. The avenue is quite busy, so I’d suggest asking for a room that doesn’t face the street. Wi-Fi can be unreliable, and a table or desk in the standard rooms would be a nice addition.

We really liked the breakfast at the restaurant on the fourth floor, which is open until 9 p.m. Our room had a TV, fan, and mini-fridge, with food and drinks available. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the room, the stalls, and everything else were very clean. It’s also close to the main square. Noise was the downside: the hotel is on a road, the windows don’t block much sound, and inside, people dragged furniture instead of lifting it, which made things louder.

We picked an interior room to get away from the road noise, though we could still hear a bit. It was fine for one night, and inexpensive with breakfast included. The room was small but clean and comfortable. It could have had better ventilation, but turning on the fan took care of that. There’s a mini-fridge, and you can bring your own food.
