The Christmas dinner was a waste of money for my family and me. We paid 200,000 COP per person, waited about 20 minutes in line, then got half a plate of cold food. The hall was loud, with cheap Santa yelling into a microphone, and there were no seconds. Drinks cost extra, and we waited another 20 minutes for a waiter. It came to about 40 bucks each for the food, without drinks. Earlier, staff hassled us at the pool to pay a $5 bill, and one person even went to our room to collect it. We had booked a room and dinner. I would not go there for Christmas or New Year.

I found the place relaxing, and the staff paid great attention to detail. The rooms were quite a bit smaller than I expected, though. I'd still highly recommend it if you're after a peaceful stay.

The hotel is very clean, safe, and comfortable, and service was above average. The rate is expensive, though, and the food and restaurant could be better. There are also large areas that seem to go unused, but it works well for big events.

The hotel let us keep our room a little longer before the long trip home, which we appreciated. As a tourist in Colombia and Santander, I can recommend it. The rooms were clean, breakfast was good, and it's very close to Giron and the Airport.

You can park right in front of your room, which is pretty cool. Most rooms are joined bungalow-style units, with two levels in one area, rather than a conventional tall hotel. The place might not look like a 4 star hotel from outside, but the service delivers. Rooms are spacious, security is good, and the restaurant food is excellent. Warmly recommend.
