They brought breakfast to our bed even in heavy rain, and the service was very good. The bubbles show wear and tear, though, and could use a revamp so the views from inside the tent are better.

Go somewhere else. This place felt like a scam: dirty hot tub, moldy sheets, and awful service. My husband and I paid extra for a nice room with a hot tub because we wanted a romantic trip. On the first day, the tub was disgustingly dirty. We asked them to clean it, but it was still dirty on day two, with dead insects at the bottom. It looked like a lazy cleaning job. We tried to use it anyway, but it was deflated. They offered to move us at 8:20pm. Out of our three nights, we couldn’t use the hot tub for two, so we left and canceled the final night because we weren’t getting what we’d paid for. We asked for a partial refund because we’d booked a room with a hot tub and didn’t have one. The owner was rude and said he couldn’t refund us, which he lied about. We left to avoid more hassle and ruining our trip. The sheets were moldy too. The cabin glass didn’t close all the way, so mosquitoes got inside, and the bed mosquito net was just for show and didn’t work properly. Dirty, disgusting, badly located, and not worth the money. They just want your money. Go somewhere else!

We enjoyed the hot tub and massage at the spa. The outdoor kitchen also had the basics we needed to make a simple meal after we arrived with groceries and skipped dinner. The hot tub worked well, was hot, and seemed fairly clean to us. We were in the crystal cabana, not a sky bubble, and the rustic accommodation felt a little run down, perhaps once nice but not now. The room smelled very musty as soon as we walked in, which should have been a warning. We thought it might be mold from the rug getting wet. The sheets were clean and very white, so we felt okay sleeping there. We couldn’t lift the mattress cover corners enough to check properly and dismissed it, which was a mistake. In the morning, one of us had bites on our ankles. We first thought they might be from other bugs or mosquitoes, but on a hunch we checked the mattress again. It looked like mold, though after comparing photos online, it could have been bed bug remnants. We spent our last travel day in Medellin frantically washing everything, including our backpacks, and drying it on high heat. We did the same at home and can only hope it was enough. When I messaged the hotel about the mattress looking like mold or bed bugs, they wouldn’t confirm or deny it. After being bitten and potentially exposed to bed bugs, I’d stay away. It wasn’t worth the stress.

The bubble felt surreal, and the secluded natural setting was so peaceful. We loved hanging out by the hot tub and BBQ area. With dinner and breakfast delivered by room service, we didn’t even have to leave. What an amazing place to stay!

The cabins were run down and poorly kept, nothing like the website pictures. Old boards, insects in the room, leaves all over the net, and the outdoor pillow you sit on was left dirty in the rain. There were dried banana leaves all over the bathroom floor, and the bathroom wood looked roughly put up, not smooth. If you want a well-kept place, this isn’t for you. They said breakfast was free and showed us a list with only four items. We weren’t told that ordering more than one item per person from the free breakfast list would cost extra. We’re not from Colombia and wanted to try more than one thing, but the food tasted horrible.
