Felipe found us the last room in the garden when rain left us stranded, and the staff were lovely and flexible about our early breakfast request. Breakfast was filling, too. But for 200000/2 people with breakfast, it felt overpriced. The room was freezing and had no soundproofing; the warm water was mediocre, and the wifi didn't work at all.

Everyone on colibri's staff was kind and ready to sort out any issue. They had the organization for sierra Nevada del cocuy all covered, so we didn't have to worry about anything. Diego and Angie took great care of us. I loved this hotel, and we'd definitely recommend it and use their services again. Thank you very much.

Angie knows the region well, and her recommendations were spot-on. She was an experienced guide who put safety first, and her commitment to responsible tourism really showed. The agency also had a thorough guide to enjoying the landscapes of El Cocuy and the surrounding area. At Hotel Casa Colibrí, the staff were warm and professional, and the clean, comfortable, well-kept rooms made it easy to relax after hiking. I felt supported from booking through the whole stay. My experience with Ascenso Guicán and Hotel Casa Colibrí was excellent. I'd recommend Ascenso Guicán for accommodation and excursion planning if you want an authentic, well-supported experience in this beautiful region of Boyacá.
