Hotel Campestre Villa Gladhys

We wound up there because we couldn't find anywhere else where we felt safe staying. Over the Three Kings Day weekend, they charged 200,000 pesos for a room that was the worst I've seen in 15 years of travel. The mattresses were compressed cotton, the pillows were worn from too much use, and the curtains were covered in dust. The floor and drain covers hadn't been cleaned since previous guests, apparently not for a year. A terrible place. I absolutely don't recommend it. The worst hotel ever.

Just 2 km from Honda, this country hotel has a natural setting where you mostly hear nature. It's a peaceful, relaxed place for a family getaway and a chance to disconnect. There's fresh air, a pool, game room, volleyball court, and lots of space for recreation and time together. The weather changes with the season, and parking is available. The hotel is pleasant and beautiful, with spacious rooms and comfortable, simple beds. Ventilation is standard, not state of the art. I found the service good, though the children's playground isn't in great condition.

The price was exorbitant for the poor service, and it was nothing like the service and management from a few years ago. On a rainy night, water came through the roof. The owner or manager said there was nowhere to move us, offered no refund, and had no solution. A terrible experience.

A wonderful place to relax, with excellent service and attentive staff. I'd recommend it. Thanks to Don Javier and everyone on his team. Blessings.
