The rooms are clean, and breakfast was good. Service could use some improvement. Let them know ahead of time if you need parking. They often say they only take cash, but transfers are accepted too.

With multiple sclerosis, getting my luggage up the spiral stairs was a real problem. There’s no elevator and nobody available to help, and taxis can’t reach the hotel because the street is closed to tourists. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable.

We couldn’t charge our phones because the electricity went off overnight. The bed was rock hard, and reception wasn’t very friendly.

The room was much smaller than I expected, and the bed felt like a rock. The stay wasn’t comfortable or relaxing. Staff were so unfriendly from the start that it felt like guests were a bother, with no basic welcome at all. I also had to make it very clear that my service dog would be staying. The place isn’t friendly to pets or even service animals, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for comfort or decent service.

There’s no elevator, so be prepared for the stairs, but the rooms do come with complimentary toiletries, which is a nice touch. The hotel is only a five-minute walk from the sanctuary, and breakfast was delicious. The problem was the shower water was cold. They offered us another bathroom, kindly, but that one had no hot water either. Otherwise, it was fine.
