The grounds are huge, with peacocks wandering around and other animals kept in pens. We spent a few days there at the end of January and had a great holiday. It felt like the place had been recently renovated: the main building had comfortable, clean rooms, while some other properties on site looked like they were still being renewed. It was very peaceful, and the on-site restaurant offered good value and enough variety for a stay of several days. The staff were friendly and helpful, even bringing us fly spray to use in our rooms before bed. There are mosquitoes, but not enough to spoil the holiday; still, bringing repellent is a good idea. Two pool areas are on site, though only one was working during our visit, and that was fine with us.

There’s a lot to do here, with good food on site and a lovely rural setting. The staff are great. It’s a real hidden treasure.

There are all kinds of animals to see, including alpacas, water buffaloes, horses, chickens, and rabbits. The people looking after the guests were great, and it’s a beautiful, quiet place to get away and relax. I’ll definitely stay here again. My only gripe was my brother’s tuna sandwich: it was just tuna between two slices of bread, put on a plate and served. For the price, I thought it could have looked and tasted better.

The weather was just right, neither too hot nor too cold, and the views were spectacular. My fiance and I spent three nights here and had a fantastic time, with plenty of animals to keep us entertained. The on-site chef, pool, spa, and sauna all came with an incredible view. Highly recommended.

We had a great, unusual experience here, with nature and animals to enjoy and excellent service. The pools were in somewhat poor condition, but aside from that, it was a great stay.
