I went with my mom and sister in 2020, when we had the whole villa to ourselves because of Covid. We needed a car to stay there. The woman who built the place was so kind to us, and my favorite thing was her beautiful Amazon parrot. The pool was lovely, and we got a close-up feel for the wildlife. It also felt private and immersive since there weren't neighboring businesses around. We did get food poisoning, which is kind of typical, so I'd bring medicine wherever you stay. Still, I'd stay here again.

The staff were attentive, and the last room had a beautiful view. Even with vehicles passing by, the place felt peaceful. But I decided not to stay the night. The rooms seemed neglected: there were termites, cockroach remains on the furniture, and the cleanliness, maintenance, and ventilation all needed work. The pool also needed maintenance. There's no menu, and in my opinion the grilled chicken I ordered cost more than at some restaurants. The place has potential, but it needs attention.

The cabins are lovely, and the hotel itself is beautiful and very natural. I stayed here and liked how centrally it sits for visiting other tourist spots.
