The rooms are welcoming and have a lovely artistic look, and the staff are friendly and quick to help with directions. They can also put you in touch with a tuk-tuk driver for safe trips around town or to Tabatinga for an afternoon or evening. My room was spacious and very clean, and I was given keys to both it and the front door, so I could come and go whenever I wanted. There is a laundry area, but Leticia's climate makes it less suitable for cotton clothes, which can develop an unpleasant smell. Synthetic clothes are fine. Sheets are changed and trash is taken out every two days. The hotel is 100m from the airport, so you can walk or take a Tuk-Tuk for 7000 COP (in the year 2025).

There were lots of cockroaches on the floor, and the floor itself was very dirty. My room had a strong damp smell that made me cough. I would never stay at this hostel again. Today, $300 was stolen from me. I left it under my pillow, and when I came back, the sheets and pillowcase had been changed. There are surveillance cameras that show the employee entering my room, but she denies it. Reporting it to the police was useless, and I believe the owner is covering for the employees.

A male employee read the results of my search aloud right there. I think he may have turned off the Wi-Fi to spy on it, since the chance of being seen is low.

The decor and comfort were both great, and our three-night stay is one of the memories we'll cherish from Leticia. The amenities were ideal and very clean. It's handy for the airport, though a bit too far from restaurants, shopping centers, and other points of interest. You'll need a tuktuk to get to the city center, and not every tuktuk driver knows where the hotel is.
