This is a clean, convenient place with a warm, familiar atmosphere. Medardo Gamez, the owner, goes well beyond what you’d expect from a host and does everything he can to help guests feel comfortable. Don’t come expecting luxury, but it’s a clean place to stay while arranging trips around the Amazon. The local people are kind and friendly too. We’ll be back many times.

Staying at Hotel Pirarucú was one of the best experiences you can have in the Amazon. It’s close to the airport, in a perfect location, and offers a range of comprehensive, amazing tours. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean, the service is excellent, and breakfast is delicious. Best place to stay in Leticia.

The cabins felt pretty unstable, and there was no ladder, which I wasn’t keen on. Maybe the other rooms are better. The hotel itself has a pleasant atmosphere and nice decor.
