SummerC hotel

The peaceful vibe made it easy to switch off and enjoy the moment. The views seemed like they belonged on another planet, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Absolutely stunning, can’t wait to come back!

We got to visit some beautiful waterfalls, and also did kite. The jacuzzi was warm and lovely, especially when it wasn’t very sunny or even when it was raining. Spectacular hotel, with amazing views and great service!

Summer C is a lovely spot to unwind and take in the view of the Chivor reservoir. There are outdoor activities, and it’s a great place to disconnect, enjoy the simple things, rest, and recharge. The food was excellent, and the staff were very helpful. Getting there was enjoyable too, especially the drive down the Tenza Valley. The roads were in very good condition, well signed, and generally felt safe. The region’s landscapes are beautiful for nature lovers and anyone who enjoys the outdoors, with plenty of good photography spots. I also liked the name Summer C, a play on the local Spanish word “sumerce,” an expression from Castellano ancestry that shows respect for others, especially older people. It’s a nice tribute to Colombian cultural heritage. Highly recommended.

It looks like a great hotel with promising experiences, but check that it’s operating before you arrive. We had a confirmed reservation through WhatsApp, yet found the hotel closed on two separate visits. It seems direct confirmation more than once may be needed to make sure they’re open during the week. Better communication would help.
