Hotel Estadio 63D

I only stayed one night and wish I'd booked longer. The rooms are bright and nicely decorated, and the spacious common area has lots of light and plants. From the street the small hotel doesn't look like much, but once you're through the gate it's peaceful and welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful too. A really pleasant surprise.

For all three days I was there, I had no hot water. The solar boiler depends on the weather, but Bogotá is often cold, so hot water really matters. I also wasn't told when booking that card payments come with a 7% fee. The location is far from the sightseeing POIs, and the owner's arrogant behavior added to my disappointment. My worst experience in Colombia.

The rooms are lovely and I really liked the staff. The area around it isn't great, though, and the shower water was nearly ice cold. Still, it's reasonably priced, and a taxi to good restaurants doesn't cost much.

I went for the Latin Mafia concert on November 6th and had a wonderful stay. Movistar Arena is close enough to walk to. The receptionist was so friendly and attentive, and the room and facilities looked exactly like the pictures. I'd definitely come back.
