It’s a nice way to spend a morning or afternoon if you like strolling around and watching people, though you probably won’t need a whole day. The plazas in Pereira are lively, with vendors selling things and pigeons everywhere. You get a feel for the friendly city, and there are those giant horse statues to see too.
There are loads of Pokémon stops here, which is great for fans. I went both at night and during the day, and it felt very safe. Lots of people were around, and the decorations looked nice. Even Simon Bolivar was wearing a COVID mask. For food, there’s a little coffee shop to the left of the church with amazing bunuelos.
Families, couples, friends, all kinds of people come here to hang out, and it felt safe. It’s a lovely park, with tasty street food and friendly people.
Cute little park, nice statue, and plenty of ATMs.
There’s some history here, along with a monument to Simon Bolivar. Nice place.
