The location is great if you can put up with everything else. I booked four nights but left after one. The worst part was raw sewage stench coming from the bathroom drain from around 2 am to 7 am. It was unbearable, and I vomited through the night. At 6 am the cathedral, literally 10 meters from the room, blasted electronic bells through the streets, and the hotel's dog barked all day and night. The male receptionist was unfriendly. You have to be buzzed in every time you return, including in the morning. I waited ten minutes for a black coffee in the restaurant area, even though I was the only guest there.

Cute decor, a nice coffee shop, and staff who were very helpful.

I’d stayed here several times before and had no problems, but August 3rd, 2025 was a complete disaster. We arrived before the midnight check-out time, and our room was open with our luggage inside. They said they were about to clean it. The shower taps were broken: the cold tap wouldn’t turn on, and the hot one wouldn’t turn off, so one of us burned her feet. We had to ask the inconsiderate night receptionist for help, and he could barely shut off the tap. He also treated us badly because we don’t support Petro. His job is to serve guests, not drag them into political arguments, and he was incredibly rude. Terrible service.
