AW Hotel Urban 80

We ended up very comfortable here after a bad experience at our previous hotel. We arrived on the 31st, and the staff member was helpful and showed us a clean, spacious room. It smelled a little of paint, but she explained they were painting the rooms, so we stayed. The room was cleaned when we asked, and the included breakfast was delicious. The bathrooms were clean, though small bottles of shampoo and conditioner would be useful. A non-slip mat or towel by the shower would help too, since the floor is slippery. It would also be nice to have more drinks than the hot chocolate they always served, such as natural juices or coffee. Breakfast could run longer or start earlier, around 6:30 am to 9:30 am. The internet coverage could be better as well. Those are our suggestions; otherwise, cleanliness and room size were very good.

The beds were comfortable, the location was good, and breakfast was adequate. But I couldn't sleep at all during our three nights. Water leaks in the bathrooms dripped all night, and the misaligned doors had to be slammed shut, making noise through the night. The hotel doesn't manage noise from guests either. Day staff were diligent, but the night manager seemed more focused on her phone than on guests' basic needs. The hotel has potential, which makes the lack of management such a shame. If I could go back, I wouldn't stay there for even one night. This is my honest opinion.

Honestly, it was terrible and I don't recommend it. The bathroom smelled awful, our rooms were never cleaned during the six nights we stayed, and people came in yelling at 1 a.m. without anyone from the hotel saying anything. They kept turning off the lights, and there wasn't even toilet paper in the bathroom.

My stay was a bad experience. The room was a bit run down, wasn't cleaned, and had no hot water. I raised these issues, but nothing was done to fix them.
