Cristina and the staff gave amazing customer service, thank you Cristina!! The neighborhood felt safe and quiet, yet a short taxi ride got us to everything. Breakfast was predictable, but filling and tasty.

The people here are really, really nice and helpful. It’s a simple, clean place, and the location is handy if you’re going to an event at EAFIT University. It’s also near the Aguacatala Metro station. Otherwise the neighborhood is rather dull, though it’s easy to get around by metro or taxi.

I arrived around noon, and the staff were nice at first. I gave them my documents and they said everything was fine, then started talking among themselves and asking for extra details, as if I were suspicious. They said they’d check whether a room was ready. I said that was fine, and if it wasn’t ready I could leave my bag and come back at 3 pm. As soon as she heard that, she stopped checking. Even when I asked if she had checked, she ignored me. I had a similar experience with the same hotel group in bogota. I couldn’t find breakfast when I went out around 7:30-8 am, so I had to leave for my tour. The coffee wasn’t really what you’d call “coffee” for Medellín, Colombia. Cleanliness was so and so, the employees weren’t the friendliest overall, and the internet SUCKS! The location is good and the amenities are decent. Reply: Ayenda is in multiple places around colombia, and there was no language barrier. She just didn’t care.

Very basic, but functional and affordable. It’s in a super quiet location, not too far from laureles or poblado.
