The cleaning lady was the one bright spot. She was really friendly and helped us reach the "owner" to get the room code, though it took an hour. Otherwise, nobody answered WhatsApp or calls, there was no reception or help, and a lot of things were broken. The internet was unreliable; the shower stayed cold for 10 minutes, then was boiling for the next 15. We had to pay online with no way to get the money back. The room was damp and smelled awful, the towels were dirty, and a small window facing the hall meant we could hear everything. No AC, just a fan that sounded like a jet. Our Booking reservation had also gone missing by the time we finally reached someone. Look at the pictures and go somewhere else. Pay €5 more for a place with people actually running it, instead of an unreachable WhatsApp chat.

I was left scrambling for somewhere to stay as a Mexican visitor in a foreign country. I had booked Casa Mosaiko Nutibara Hostel in Medellín through BestDay, but never got the check-in confirmation email that they supposedly send 72 hours before arrival. Calls and Facebook messages went unanswered. When I reached the address, the place looked abandoned and had a sign saying it was for rent. A young man at a nearby beauty salon told me everything had been taken out the week before. Yet official sites apparently still list the hostel and charge people for rooms. It felt like a complete scam and showed no respect for customers. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Something needs to be done so other people don't get caught in this. Report the place. Zero stars.

A coffee in the common area and somewhere to store luggage were handy. The setting is beautiful, and the price felt very fair. Our room was spacious and quiet, and the large bathroom had a working shower, hot water, soap, and shampoo. The hostel is in a convenient spot, with good restaurants and a shopping center nearby, in a quiet and safe neighborhood. I'd book it again if I come back to Medellín.

There’s a little lounge and lobby where you can leave your things, have coffee, or make herbal tea. The building has beautiful architecture, and our room had plenty of space for two and was comfortable, with hot water. Check-in is virtual, and the staff send all the information you need. A really good stay, highly recommend.
