Don Jorge is super friendly, and the garden setting is lovely, with the nearby creek audible instead of traffic. The dorm beds are cheap, and you can cook in the big kitchen or use the grill. The swimming pool is fantastic. A dorm bed was 25,000$ in Feb. 2019. Groups of noisy partygoers do come through, though.

The host is friendly, available around the clock, and ready to help with whatever you need. There’s a supermarket on the next block and a hamburger restaurant by the main entrance. The place has a nice natural feel, with a small river alongside it in El Poblado. Hot water is available, too. My main issue was the bathrooms: they have no locks, and the walls are too high and open for women. Also, the concrete bunk beds have no stairs, so keep that in mind if you want a top bunk. It’s a nice place to stay, and I recommend it.

The neighborhood is great, with Parque Lleras, supermarkets, and upscale restaurants in Medellin nearby. Prices are cheap, and check-in and check-out have no special rules or set hours. The house is close to a brook, which makes it feel peaceful, natural, and cozy. Rooms take four or more guests, and the bathrooms are comfortable. There are good shared areas for talking with other travelers, and the service is warm and polite. The host is friendly, and I felt at home there. Nice hostel, perfectly located.

There are loads of restaurants and bars nearby, and the place is close to the city's fancy area. Jorge and his team were very hospitable and made sure guests were happy with the stay and facilities. Recommended.
