The location is great, and the wifi works well. It’s clean, quiet, and has a lovely courtyard, with helpful staff and good security. This isn’t a party spot, which suits me. My price was much lower than what I saw online; I think the listed rate may be for private rooms rather than dorms. I’ll be coming back.
I only stayed one night, and it was a pretty standard hostel. The wifi wasn’t working very well, though the surrounding area is nice for a walk. La Estrella is the closest metro station. Keep an eye out for the man in the red polo that says “empanadas 5 for 1000.” He sells five little corn empanadas for 1000 pesos.
When I first got to Medellin, I stayed here for a month. The place is simple and clean, with a nice patio. I’d definitely recommend it.
Laureles is a perfect spot for this stay, and the staff are really nice. A great place to stay.
The billiards room and courtyard made the hostel especially enjoyable, and everything was spotless. Claudia and Nelson gave us a warm welcome and were always there if we needed anything. I’ll definitely come back.
