Hotel Bayadera Real

I paid a $500,000 deposit on January 17th after booking three rooms on January 15th. I had asked over WhatsApp for the exact three rooms shown in the photos. When I arrived with my baby, the manager said they were occupied and offered other rooms instead. There were no clear alternatives or compensation, and the manager was curt. I felt disappointed for the people who had trusted me to make the reservation, because we didn't get what we'd agreed on.

I've had excellent service here, and they can provide electronic billing. The rooms are clean, and outside noise is present but manageable. Its location near Plaza Mayor event center is handy for errands around Medellín. The area is commercial, with a few auto repair shops nearby.

We arrived with a confirmed booking for two nights, only to find out the room was available for one. They offered another hotel for the second night, but it would have cost more. Either way, the employee wouldn't refund our deposit.

They sent me lots of messages to confirm my arrival, but the room I got first hadn't been cleaned, and there were used towels on the bed. The replacement room was cramped, uncomfortable, and noisy. I could hear the bars on the street, and staff noise in the hallway in the morning kept me from sleeping. This isn't the hotel it claims to be, in my view, but a motel in an area with auto parts stores. It didn't feel safe at all.
