Hotel Villa Real

For three days I had no towels and no cable TV. When I asked about the towels, the answer was that they were checking. There was never any contact or greeting. To me, this is a motel for a three hour stay, not a place that deserves to be called a hotel.

The area is pretty good, and I picked this place because it was cheaper than other hotels. But after my surgery, they charged my nurse 40,000 pesos just to come upstairs and give me medication for an hour. They never fixed my Wi-Fi problems, and whenever I had a delivery, staff couldn't tell me where my package was. They also weren't friendly. This is by far the worst hotel I've stayed at. Don't stay here, there are plenty of other options.

The staff were very helpful, and the location is great. The beds are a little hard, and it can get a bit noisy at night, but otherwise it was good.

We ended up getting a refund and leaving, but I'll never go back. We'd booked three days ahead and were then told there was no parking reserved for us. When we asked for a refund, the woman at the front desk got mad. The customer service was bad. The room was so dirty, and the little AC unit barely worked. There were no blankets, and the one on the bed was so thin it was like a napkin. The shower was wide open, with a curtain that only closed halfway, for a room of six people. Don't go here, even if it's your last choice.
