6/10
The staff were kind and very helpful, and the rooms were clean. They do feel due for an upgrade, though, with things like USB ports missing. Finding the hotel can be tricky because the signs aren't clear. Across from a nice mall, but getting there on foot means walking between stopped cars since the city has no proper pedestrian path.

Arcadia Mall next door was handy, and we liked the ceviche at the food court. Breakfast tasted good, but it came by room service at a requested time, which we hadn't realized at first. It was never on time, so keeping to our schedule with kids aged 6 and 3 was frustrating. Maybe that's fine for a very relaxed trip, but it didn't work well for us. We were there for three nights, and the room felt old, smelled a little strange, and wasn't very comfortable. This ended up being the most disappointing place we stayed in Colombia. I wish we'd booked somewhere else.

The made-to-order breakfast showed up at our apartment every morning and was surprisingly good. The hospitality was amazing.

The service was great, but I wasn't keen on having breakfast brought to the room. After 13 days, getting the same breakfast every day was tough, and a wider menu would have helped. The windows also don't block the sound, so it was noisy.

Oyala Herrera regional airport and Arkadia Mall are both right across the street.
