It's right beside the town's main park, which is a great spot. I'd seen complaints about walking on that street, but if you're coming from anywhere in Latin America, it feels perfectly safe. The hotel is good value, and the basic breakfast comes with the room at no extra charge. The rooms are a decent size, though there's no elevator.

The room had no window and was extremely damp, so staying there was uncomfortable and felt unhealthy. We also found bedbugs, which is unacceptable and needs serious, immediate attention. After that, we asked the hotel to cover our laundry, which seemed like the least they could do, but they refused and asked us to pay. We hope the establishment takes responsibility. If there is no response or solution, we'll report the experience to the relevant platforms and authorities.

Avoid this hotel unless you want to spend your stay scratching. It has bedbugs, and Angela, the owner, was disrespectful and blamed guests for a problem throughout her hotel. One day she told me she'd had this issue before, then the next day said it was my fault. Jefferson, though, was a great receptionist and did good work.

A colonial-style hotel with rooms that are good value, and the service was friendly and attentive. They even helped sort out some personal issues from outside the hotel, though they weren't responsible for them. I'm incredibly grateful for their generous support. A very good base for a few days exploring Medellín.
