I liked the lobby cafe, and everyone working there was warm and helpful even though my Spanish is limited. The place is close to shopping, restaurants, and bars. My room was clean, spacious, and practical, with a mini kitchen where I could cook something light when I craved Asian food. There’s a laundry facility upstairs for a small fee, which I really needed after traveling around Colombia and building up a pile of dirty clothes. I enjoyed the stay enough to add another day in Medellin. The only downside was the thin doors. I could often hear people talking, entering their passcode, or leaving early in the morning.

We faced the street, but closing the balcony door made it quiet. The studio was spacious and soundproof, with excellent wifi and everything we needed for a pleasant stay. There’s a free washer and dryer, a fully stocked kitchenette, and a great shower. The two hot tubs on the roof have amazing views and are open 24 hours. Unicentro Mall is two blocks away for shopping. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat 🩷

ANTS were crawling over the bed, my skin, and the clothes inside my suitcase. Security wouldn’t buzz me into or out of the property when they didn’t feel like it, and I had to call emergency services to get out. See the picture of the angry security guard. Be careful of a bait and switch at the front desk: the host says one thing, then the desk says another when you arrive. The host didn’t respond to my requests. Enjoy your stay at a hotel instead.

They cancelled my reservation on the day I was due to arrive because my credit card hadn’t gone through, even though I called and resolved it with Chase. Nobody called or texted me about it. I found that very inconsiderate.
