Sol de Laureles Casa Hotel

We were so glad we picked Solar Casa Laureles over another hotel we’d considered. The staff made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived. Valentina, Boris, and the kind young woman at the morning desk were all so hospitable and attentive, whether helping with recommendations, checking we were comfortable, or greeting us warmly each day. The breakfast was phenomenal too, with fresh fruit, pastries, juice, and more. Our room had beautiful views 🌃 and the hotel felt clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, with extra beds if needed. The team clearly takes pride in making guests feel at home. We had a fantastic stay at Solar Hotel Casa Laureles and can’t wait to return.

The location is super great, and breakfast had plenty of variety. There was the expected street noise, but I still didn’t want to leave this well kept hotel. Alex greeted me at check in with a hot drink. He was really professional and especially good at arranging tours around the city and nearby areas.

The menu del día costs more than at other places, and the selection is unusually narrow. There’s no protein or main dish.

Just steps from Segundo Park and lots of great restaurants, this hotel sits in a lively, vibrant neighborhood. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the place has a charming feel. Breakfast is delightful, and they also serve a typical Colombian lunch.
