I was really disappointed with my stay and wouldn't recommend this place for safety or cleanliness. I found small cockroaches in the kitchen and rooms, including a dead one in my bed. There were mosquitoes throughout the hostel, and I ended up with bites all over my arms and legs. The sheets looked dirty and had hair on them, and I didn't think the ones on my bed had been washed. The hostel was hard to find and in an unsafe area. On my second day, a man on a moto tried to steal my phone while I was waiting for my Uber right in front of the hostel. Walking around there at night also didn't feel safe.

The staff are really sweet, especially Maryelis and Nataly, who made my stay awesome. There's free breakfast in the mornings, and the hostel has a cozy, family-oriented feel that's good for all kinds of travelers. The neighborhood is very safe and close to everything you might need. Definitely recommend it in Medellin :)))

Breakfast is included, the staff are lovely and helpful, and the hostel is super clean. There's a 24 bakery across the road and several restaurants just a couple of minutes away on foot. The area feels lovely and safe, and Laureles is a short walk away. The beds were comfortable and had a light, fan, and power outlet, with plenty of luggage storage in the rooms. I loved my stay and would highly recommend this place in Medellin.

For a budget traveler, this is a great place to stay. The main bus station is a block away, and there are plenty of places to eat within walking distance. The included breakfast was enough for me, and I highly recommend El Vegano Andante whether you're vegan or not. Staff were friendly and the desk was staffed around the clock. Everything was very clean, including my spotless linens, and I even saw the cleaner washing the common-area seat cushions. Sheets and a blanket are available on request, and you get a bath towel but no washcloth. You can borrow a locker lock for free. Extremely affordable, and I enjoyed my stay.

We ended up extending our stay twice because we liked it so much. Cleanest hostel I've ever stayed in, with a very good kitchen, super friendly staff, and a great location near the metro. Best hostel in Medellin, 100% recommended!
