For what we paid, we later saw better options. The rooms have no refrigerators, and the hotel's general cleanliness could be better. I'd only consider it in an emergency.

Pedro is a real professional. Our 10 days in Melgar were very satisfying: the hotel is right in the center, just a two-minute walk from the main square. The rooms are large, the pool is lovely, and everything was cleaned very well every day. The owner and his family were very kind, and they even offered us one free night for every five nights. Who does that these days? The price was excellent too, as low as you can get. I traveled around Colombia for three months, and this was the best hotel I found in the whole country.
