What stands out to me is the lack of clear communication and organization, both during our stay and afterward. More than 20 days after we left, we got repeated calls about extra charges that had never been explained or justified. Being called opportunists, with the computer breaking down offered as an excuse for not following up earlier, felt unfair. Equipment and admin problems are the establishment's responsibility, not a reason to blame guests or bill them later. There were no extra guests or unpaid charges, and the shortages you mention never happened. If extra dishes had been served, why wasn't that brought up or charged at the time? Nobody informed us, asked us to clarify anything, or requested payment while we were there. Raising it later in a defensive reply to a review only points to the same disorganization. The service problems weren't about the prices. They were about the staff's attitude: arrogant replies, a dismissive response to comments, and no willingness to admit mistakes. No place is perfect, but denying every criticism and putting the blame on customers shows little humility, empathy, or self-awareness. You talk about respecting your staff, but that has to show in how they're treated. You know what we mean. Their treatment needs to be consistent and dependable. Calling guests “opportunists” and saying follow-up was impossible because “the computer broke down” doesn't excuse anything. Nor does responding to every negative review with confrontation and talk about looking for customers who connect with your philosophy. That comes across as an inability to accept honest feedback, as if customers should stay quiet after a bad experience. The mess in the glamping operation was clear, and it wasn't something guests should have to supervise or fix. We came to relax, not manage your business. Quality has to be shown, and trust has to be built with good organization, respect, clear communication, and responsibility. None of that came through during our stay or in the way the criticism and later charges were handled.
