Terramia Estate

Our honeymoon here in August 2023 was magical. The glass domes were unlike anything I’d experienced, beautiful, modern, and environmentally friendly, right in the middle of the jungle. The hosts were lovely, and the home-cooked food was amazing. We had a DIY BBQ, then dinner with them and chatted for hours. It was such a memorable experience that we urged my sister and her fiancé to go too. They arrived today, which finally reminded me to write this review. Better late than never, hey? I’d recommend it 100%.

The sunset was just wow, and there are some nearby attractions like a coffee tour, birdwatching, and waterfalls. The location is incredible, with stunning views. Staff were friendly, helpful, and always available, and the atmosphere made for amazing days and nights in the jungle. The place was spotlessly clean, stylish, and carefully designed down to the details, including hot water. It exceeded every expectation and was the highlight of our trip to Columbia. 10/10, perfect accommodation.

We had wood for the fire pit outside the cabin, which was lovely on colder evenings, and the meals were healthy, delicious, and tailored to our dietary preferences. Daniel was attentive and considerate, and speaks perfect English. The whole experience seemed thoughtfully arranged for each guest. There’s a beautiful waterfall and jungle hike on the property, and the coffee tour was fun and informative. Two cute, friendly German shepherds live there, too. The domes are fascinating and impressively engineered, with a full kitchen and well-stocked minibar. The views are incredible, and on a clear day you can see all the way past La ciénaga Grande.

We stayed in the nest for 5, and there was plenty of room for all of us. Having a full kitchen was great, so we brought food and drinks from Santa Marta. The hosts were lovely, friendly, and always there to help, going above and beyond. The interior design was gorgeous and matched the breathtaking scenery, with beautiful views and accommodation. We loved the hour-long walk up to the hummingbird cafe for yummy cake. We could often hear the howler monkeys and all the beautiful birds. Absolutely stunning place, highly recommend.
