The staff were exceptionally kind, and I really enjoyed the food. I also got a preview of the new finca they’re opening soon. The building looks beautiful, and it should be a wonderful experience for anyone curious about how Colombian coffee is made. The resort itself impressed me with how beautiful it is and everything it offers. I’d definitely recommend coming for a relaxing family weekend.

The resort grounds have interesting sights and some really nice hiking spots, so I’d recommend visiting for the day. The hotel stay was another story. We barely slept either night because the second floor’s thin flooring made the room below shake whenever someone walked overhead. The rooms are simple, but that’s not the issue. Reception staff were mean and unhelpful, though the skeleton crew were nice. The food was expensive and poorly prepared. I’d find a nice Airbnb instead of staying here. Also, avoid Sundays if you can. It feels like human soup then. Saturday may be fine.

We drove an hour with a group of 17, and the visit was laughably bad. The spa treatments advertised online weren’t available because they said they’d stopped offering some of them two years ago, so the listing is out of date. We also wanted to ride horses, but they only had two ponies available. Then the zip line was closed for maintenance that day. Maybe coming on a Thursday was part of the problem, but the amusement park felt like a ghost town. I definitely do not recommend it.

The food was mediocre, and the crowd felt too lumpen and trashy. The pool was packed to the brim, so swimming was just annoying. You pay 60 bucks to get in, then another 120 for just four goes on the canopy, bungee, and 360 swing. At Parque Del Café, only 80 gets you much more, with unlimited access. I don’t recommend this place.
