For what you pay, the setup feels like a hostel, with shared bathrooms, despite the five-star hotel price. There may be better value options nearby. They seemed more focused on selling excursions than helping guests relax, and nobody mentioned that we could order anything beyond the "simple" full-board menu.

Choiba, the Whale Forest, was a magical place, with jungle meeting a calm sea and kind hosts. The food was excellent, the activities were top-notch, and the welcome was incredibly warm. Their wonderful dogs were a bonus. It's a place to feel immersed in nature and peace. Highly recommended! Hugs to the owners.
