There’s plenty to do around this ecolodge in Guachalito: hot springs, waterfalls, jungle walks, beaches, and whale watching in season. You can also explore nearby communities and the natural beauty of the Chocó. It works for a restful break or an adventure-filled trip, and you still feel well looked after while being close to nature. The owners are local, warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about the place and community. That made the stay feel authentic and special from the moment we arrived. The ecolodge is beautiful, comfortable, peaceful, and clean, and feels thoughtfully designed to fit into nature and respect the environment. An unforgettable experience. I highly recommend it for a unique, meaningful stay in Guachalito.

Waking up to the sound of waves and having fresh local food every day was a highlight, especially the delicious, beautifully prepared seafood. The rooms were spotless and fit naturally into the surroundings. The staff were so kind and attentive, always making sure we felt welcome and comfortable. At Jovisena in Guachalito, Chocó, we were surrounded by lush jungle, ocean, and a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. It was perfect for disconnecting and reconnecting with nature. A swim, a beach walk, or just watching the sunset made every moment feel magical. We can’t wait to return. Highly recommended for an authentic, serene Colombian Pacific experience!

La Joviseña offers plenty of activities for exploring this remote part of the world, and the staff are kind and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and it’s a wonderful place to experience nature in its pure state. The food is good, though it gets a bit repetitive because the place is hard to reach. Bring the snacks you like.

This was a great place to disconnect from the outside world, and the food was supper super amazing. Carlos Hernandez, our tour manager, is the one who made the trip unforgettable. He’s super respectful and extremely nice. Just two downsides: the beds were super hard, and some staff weren’t as nice as we’d expected.

The garden is full of the region’s biodiversity, and the food gives you a wonderful taste of the Pacific’s rich cuisine. Such a lovely place to stay.
