It’s a relaxing eco-style place, with wooden buildings, hammocks outside the rooms, and friendly dogs around. There’s a large kitchen and a cozy smoking area at the back. The staff were very helpful. The location is on the nicer side of town, close to independent shops and places to eat, and just off the main road for a little more peace. It’s a good break from the commercial party hostels nearer the beach. Palomino is noisy, though, and nowhere in town is quiet at night, so don’t arrive expecting silence.

Diana made my cousin and me feel so welcome. We loved talking with her, and she helped us with our Spanish. The rest of the staff were lovely too, and the dogs were beautiful. There was even a beautiful old guitar for anyone who plays. The energy here is amazing, and it’s a perfect place to relax in a wonderful beach town.

Diana and Estefania were so friendly, and around Christmas the place had a real family feel. The free breakfast was a nice bonus. The houses are mostly built from wood and bamboo, giving them a natural, distinctive feel, while still being clean and comfortable. It’s ideally situated between the beach and the main road. Honestly, this is one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in so far. I’d highly recommend it if you’re looking for a nice place in Palomino.

The location, just off the main street, was peaceful and quiet. The room was airy, comfortable, and clean, and breakfast was great, just the right size. Coffee was free all day. The staff were very attentive. I left my AirPods behind, and after I’d gone to Tayrona, they arranged for a bus to bring them to me the next day. Alex made the whole thing easy and painless. I’d highly recommend staying here.

We stayed in a private room, which was beautiful and great value. The breakfast had good choices and a fair-sized portion, and the staff were welcoming and friendly, with a lovely family feel. It seemed to attract friendly travelers, too. The area is quieter than the beachfront, with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. I would have stayed much longer. I don’t write many reviews, but this place really is very nice.
