Cabañas Frente a la Playa IV

Palomino Beach House looked nothing like the photos on Instagram, Airbnb, Google, and other social media. We rented the entire cabin for a large group and had made it clear to Hugo, the owner, that we needed every room. Still, it was filthy and uninhabited when we arrived, with two backpacker "volunteers" sleeping there. The kitchen and bathrooms were dirty, and so were the beds they were using. The power kept going out even though the rest of town had electricity, but Hugo blamed the power company. During two nights of rain, the house had leaks everywhere. There is no air conditioning, and many fans, switches, and fan controls were broken. The bathrooms smelled awful, and water mixed with sand kept clogging them. There were buckets of mold in the shower, too disgusting to move. The advertised beach wasn't there, just sandbags covered in sand with the sea washing over them. The shared areas were run down. The pool table was broken, with balls stuck in the middle, the pool was always dirty, and the jacuzzi was never on. This place was disgusting and not worth considering.

The staff were friendly, and my room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, too. This hotel is a real gem, and I'll definitely be back.
