Carolina, the host, is a sweetheart. We spent three nights here and loved the pool, sauna, service, and delicious food. It’s a lovely, quiet, well-equipped place for relaxing, tanning, and enjoying nature. Tours and spa treatments were also offered as extra services. Ordering food can take a while, but it was worth the wait.

Coconuco beach resort is beautiful, but for the price it wasn’t worth it. It’s far from the main part of town, and walking there is a real trek because the beach is eroded and there’s no path. The food disappointed us and service was very slow. More than once, we waited over an hour. We checked out early and found somewhere closer to downtown with better food.

Carlos drove about three hours each way to pick my family up from the Barranquilla airport, and he and his team made us feel very welcome and looked after. We had a wonderfully relaxing stay, with a nice room, good food and drinks, a refreshing pool, and direct access to the beach. In the evenings, we could walk along the beach to Palomino for restaurants and nightlife. They also arranged a hike and rafting trip through the jungle and down a winding river, with plenty of nature and wildlife. Low-key and sublime.

We spent five nights at Coconuco resort, and the grounds were beautifully kept. It’s peaceful and quiet, yet town is only a 20-minute walk away. The food was very good at both breakfast and dinner, and the cocktails were amazing. We thought the services were excellent value for the money. The staff made the stay especially wonderful. Carolina, Osiris, Gina, and everyone else were friendly, accommodating, and extremely hospitable, with a really personal touch. Highly recommended.

We had such a good time here. Carolina and Dalcia were wonderful and welcoming with our family. Make sure to get a pina colada by the pool!
