The hosts made everything easy and were attentive and helpful. Posada Gallinas was clean, comfortable, and well cared for. We had a great stay and would highly recommend it.

The place looks very nice, and the price is low enough that some budget travelers seemed happy there. For me, though, it wasn’t very practical. Street noise, dogs, motos, and the smell outside made it nearly impossible to sleep. The bathroom was so cramped I couldn’t close the shower, and I’m not obese. Heat also lingered in the room. The interior garden is mostly stone with only a few plants, and the surrounding streets felt terrifying at night because of the dogs.

It’s a decent budget option in Palomino, but the rooms get so hot that relaxing or sleeping is difficult. Our sink leaked, and the cats took over the seating area and kept trying to get into the rooms. There aren’t any comfortable seats, and the place could really use hammocks or something. The kitchen is covered in ants, and the cats are there too, so you can’t leave food in it.

We really liked the open air kitchen and the seating area outside, and there was a very cute cat too. Our room at Posada Gallinas was great, with a private bathroom. We were very happy with our stay.

Alberto was a wonderful, attentive host, and the place was clearly well cared for. With just 3 rooms, it feels really intimate, and the shared spaces are beautiful. Loved this little sanctuary in the middle of Palomino.
