Hotel Dancar

The biggest drawback was the noise. With such thin, single-glazed windows, trucks, people shouting, and dogs barking outside came through all night, and I barely slept. Still, the rooms are very cheap, so for one night it was manageable. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the Plaza, and Wi-Fi was reasonable considering the town’s remote mountain location. The room was basic but fine for a night or two; the beds are very firm, which suited me, though the tiny en suite bathroom only had cold water. Check-in went smoothly, but there wasn’t much service after that. I arranged parking with the very friendly owner of the garage across the street.
