Hotel Castilla Real

Getting to the terminal on foot was easy, but the lack of hot water was a problem. My sleep was interrupted around 3 a.m. by another guest, and with my room near the stairs, I could hear people moving around.

Jimmy was especially helpful, full of information about places to visit and things to do, and willing to go out of his way to point me in the right direction. The whole staff were incredibly helpful. The hotel was one of my favourites while travelling around Colombia. After a month of travel, this was the first place where I found the beds so comfortable, and the rooms were very clean. The location was handy too, close to the bus stop for Santa Rosa, the travel agency, and the bus station. San Vicente termales was just three minutes away and is highly recommendable. I enjoyed breakfast as well.

Clean, comfortable rooms and friendly staff who were always ready to help. It’s near good restaurants, shopping centres, pharmacies, and pretty much everything you need. The car park is a little small, so let them know ahead of time if you’re bringing a car.

Breakfast was delicious, and the hotel itself was clean, neat, lovely, and comfortable. The customer service was great, with people going out of their way to help. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. I rarely write reviews, but this place was worth taking the time for. Five stars!
