Monte Jazmín

For anyone looking for quiet, nature, coffee, and a local experience in the coffee region, this hidden gem is a lovely place to stay. Jenny led one of the best coffee tours we’ve ever taken. She knows so much, and shared the family’s history and how they got started. Spending time here made us feel close to the lovely family.

Carmen made me feel completely at home. I loved the beautiful farm, the views, the animals, the birds, and especially the coffee. She’s also a wonderful cook, and the food was superb.

Our parents had a clean, comfortable room, and we were able to park our campervan by the entrance. Jenny’s coffee tour was full of useful information about the drink and how it’s made, and afterward we got to enjoy plenty of their delicious coffee. The finca itself is lovely, with green hills, coffee plants, birds, and a very kind family all around. We had an amazing stay and would definitely come back if we can. Thanks for making it unforgettable!

While I was in Pereira, I visited Monte Jazmin and had an incredible time. Santiago and his mother were so warm and welcoming, as was their very friendly, playful German Shepherd. The estate is beautiful, and Santiago taught me a lot about growing and producing coffee. The coffee was excellent too, so I brought a couple of bags home. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the Pereira area.
