Hotel Napoles

It's centrally located and easy to get to. The rooms have a romantic feel and are clean, and the staff are efficient, helpful, and always ready to assist. Kudos for that attitude.

The hotel itself is nice and old, but the service was terrible. Water stopped running at 8 a.m., and the manager didn't show up to deal with it. Instead, she sent us to shower at another hotel. She could at least have offered a bag of water for rinsing our teeth. We waited half the day for the problem to be fixed, but it never was.

The third-floor room had neither air conditioning nor a fan, and the second-floor rooms were damp and smelled strongly. Early in the morning, bees came in through the bathroom and stung us. When we raised it at the front desk while checking out, the woman just wished us a good day and charged $150,000. That price doesn't seem justified by the poor service or the danger to guests.

There was no water for flushing the toilet or showering, and we were sent to another hotel more than three blocks away. The room there was filthy, with hair all over the bed and a disgusting bathroom. The woman in charge avoided us, talking on her cell phone instead of facing us or fixing anything. A truly horrible experience, this is the worst hotel in Pitalito. What a disgusting place.
