We found the hostel clean and safe, and it’s well placed for visiting Hacienda Nápoles and the activities in Doradal. We spent a weekend there and would recommend it.

I didn’t mean that the animals should be kept in small cages in the park. I was referring to the ones along the path where they’re changing the netting. The idea was to let them move around more freely, or have larger spaces.

The map location for Hostal El Dorado is wrong. It’s next to a budget hostel. If you’re travelling on a tight budget, it’s a good option: the minimum price is 20,000 with a fan or 30,000 with air conditioning. Wi-Fi is available, and although there’s no parking of its own, it has a connection to a parking area.

A great place to spend time with the family. The pool is nice for relaxing.
