The meals were a real highlight, with the chef using ingredients grown on the Hacienda's farm and garden. Floris also arranged our day trips perfectly and made sure we felt at ease at the hotel. We spent three nights at Hacienda Buenavista and had an extraordinary stay. We'll definitely return.

We got a warm welcome and fresh juice made from fruit grown on site when we arrived. The views beyond the sparkling infinity pool are lush, and the decor is immaculate. The hospitality and attention to detail make the place feel special. There are exotic birds and fruit around the property, plus its own waterfall. We also booked a coffee tour and a transfer from the airport to the hacienda, which was very good value.

We loved our three-night stay in February with my husband. The private walk to the river was lovely, and the food was great too. Lynn and Floris went out of their way to make us comfortable, and no request felt like a bother. Our room was spacious and beautiful, especially with its balcony. The pool and its views were all we needed for a heavenly break. We'd love to come back someday.

The hosts were so welcoming, keeping our drinks topped up and chatting without ever hovering. Sitting in the jacuzzi at sunset, with that view living up to the photos, made life feel pretty good. The chef is fantastic, and the cats and dogs make the place feel like home. Hope I can return one day!

The proprietor was easy to reach whenever needed, but never overbearing. The chef-made meals were excellent, and the views and surroundings were beautiful. Everything, from the facility to the food and cleanliness, felt five star. It was a truly relaxing vacation, and the place made it easy to enjoy our time. I got more than I expected.
