The owners are super friendly, and there’s even a playful kitten. It’s a relaxing, fun hostel just three blocks, or two minutes, from the beach. The beds are very comfortable, with curtains for privacy, plus your own light, power plug, and fan. One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in Colombia.

The common areas are great, and the pool and bar are nice. Staff are kind, the vibe is good, and the private beds come with their own plug and fan. Breakfast is small but good. The bathrooms have no ventilation, though, so they can get really hot or smelly. Even so, I’d definitely recommend this place to travelers.

The dorms are spacious, with beds that have private curtains, a fan, light, plug, and shelf. The little courtyard pool was a welcome break from the heat, and the showers had strong water pressure. Breakfast is simple but good, and they serve good juices too. The staff are welcoming and happy to share information about Guajira. It’s five minutes from the beach and close to restaurants and minimarts. I only stayed one night, but I’d come back anytime I’m in Riohacha. The calm, relaxed atmosphere made it one of the nicest hostels I’ve stayed in. Try the arepas from the lady on the corner in the afternoon, they’re the best in Colombia!

I meant to stay for two nights but ended up staying five. The owners were super friendly, answered all my questions, and had good advice. The hostel was very clean, with comfy beds, and I felt welcome from the moment I arrived. Its location is the best in Riohacha: the park, beach, and restaurants are all within a five-minute walk. The pool is great for cooling off in the heat, and the bar is a nice place to grab a drink in the evening and meet other travelers.

We first came last night because a rock band was playing, and the atmosphere was so good that we decided to return today. We’ve spent the whole afternoon here and are staying the night. It’s clean and peaceful, and the owners are really kind and helpful. I’d definitely recommend coming 🤠
