It's a handy central spot in Riohacha, about a 10 minute walk to the malecon and beach and 5 minutes to the nearby shopping center with Metro supermarket. The old lady who runs the hotel is very nice. They put a table and chair in my room, which I appreciated. A nice budget option.

We only stayed one night, but the person at the front desk was very friendly and willing to do whatever you ask. The place is really clean and everything looks good, though the beds are hard. The market is close by, and the neighborhood can get noisy, but the rooms are quiet. They offered to do our laundry for the next day, very cheaply. Basic breakfast for 7000, with coffee, eggs, cheese and bread. :)

The staff are lovely, but I wouldn't stay here. Loud music went on until 2am, and there are several motorcycle repair shops and thieves in what felt like the city's worst neighborhood. The list goes on.
