Movich Hotel Las Lomas

We spent the day here before our flight and loved the place. KUA spa, restaurant ebano, and the Movich hotel were all wonderful. Fabian gave us great service at restaurant ebano. I highly recommend the three-hour hydrotherapy and massage at the spa.

I loved seeing the peacocks in the garden, and the airport pickup was right on time. The food was amazing, though we didn't try breakfast. Check-in and checkout were easy. It's not the most modern hotel, but we'd definitely stay again.

The rooms are getting a little dated, though that didn't take away from our stay. Staff were welcoming and helpful, and there was a well-stocked bar, a good restaurant with genuinely tasty food, and a nice pool area. It also has a sauna, gym, tennis courts, and pretty much what you'd need for an overnight stay or a couple of nights while passing through Medellín. The free airport shuttle runs every 30 minutes, all day and night. It's one of the nicer airport hotels you'll find anywhere.

I slept really well. It was quiet and dark, and the bed was comfortable. For somewhere so near the airport, it's peaceful, and the frogs and peacocks at night and early in the morning made it feel enchanting. The shower had hot water and the best pressure I've had in Colombia so far, and the bath products were nice. I also appreciated the quality artisan crafts displayed around the hotel. The staff were lovely, and breakfast was a top-notch spread. Still, our room was disappointing for the price and for a five-star hotel. It felt worn and run down: curtains were coming off their hooks, the windows needed cleaning and had bird poop on them, the woodwork was scraped, and parts of the carpet were peeling up. There was also a strong cologne smell that came and went. I'd stay again, but would try to find out whether they have updated rooms.
