Everyone at reception, housekeeping, and the cafe was so welcoming that I really felt at home. The room was spotless, and the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. I haven't slept that well in ages. There are bars and restaurants close by, too. This was the best hotel stay I've had in a long time. Thanks for making me feel so welcome. I'd definitely come back when I'm in Colombia again.

The rooms are nice and the location is good, but the service was extraordinarily bad, and they didn't live up to their advertising. They wanted to charge 50 percent more for a room because we had a child over 2. They don't speak any English, and kept insisting on extra charges even when we didn't need those things.

Being right at Parque Sabaneta makes this a really convenient spot. My deluxe room was cozy, though a bit small, with a balcony facing the side of the church. It was cleaned daily, and breakfast was good. There are food places all around the park, plus spots to grab a beer or coffee. A small grocery store is down the street, and Chingas gym is nearby if you want a workout. The service was okay. At check-in, I found out the hotel charged me 100,000COP extra per day because I'd booked for one person and brought my fiancee, even though the room description said it could accommodate two. I should have checked, since I first booked directly with them and then switched to hotels.com when I saw it was cheaper with my credits. hotels.com gave me credit toward a future stay, luckily. Make sure you check.
