La Estancia Hotel Boutique made our three-night stay in central Salamina a wonderful one. It’s a small, incredibly charming hotel, and it surpassed what we expected. The staff were fantastic, and our room was clean and nicely decorated. We arranged a jeep day trip through the hotel to Samaria Valley to see the wax palm trees, which I highly recommend. The guided walk around Salamina was another highlight.

The housekeeper was so friendly and answered all my questions. She also helped me arrange some tours. I loved the bed, and it was the best shower I’ve had in Colombia so far. The welcome was warm, and the old house is beautiful. I’d recommend staying here.

The owners made us feel at home with personal, caring service, and their suggestions for things to do were right on point. Communication was easy in both English and Spanish. The place is a beautiful 130-year-old colonial house, restored to its former glory down to the smallest detail. Thanks for a great time.

Mrs Alba, the manager, was lovely and kind, and the owner Mr Jaime was very friendly and shared tips about attractions. The hotel itself was clean, cozy, nice, and beautiful, with traditional architecture. Ask Alba about a guided walking tour of the UNESCO patrimony town. It was very interesting.

The terrace view is worth seeing, and the included breakfast was delicious. The owners clearly want guests to have a nice stay, and the customer service was excellent. I accidentally left my laptop at the hotel, and they kindly shipped it to my house. Really recommended. Att Maria Lucia Espinosa
